We deliver a comprehensive offering of cinematic services which focus on remotely operated heads, and we offer a variety of vehicles to move them with refined expertise. Specializing in Arm Car and Aerial operations, ASCEND is the leader in Specialty Camera Movement on the East Coast. We are an approved vendor for ALL major studios, and we are an accomplished team of SAG-AFTRA and Local 600 Members.
TRACKER + Dual Black Arm
The Flowcine Dual Black Arm is the standard for off-road applications. This stabilization system is capable of handling camera payloads up to 120lbs on virtually any terrain you can put it into. Mounted to the ASCEND TRACKER, the Dual Black Arm will confidently stabilize any cinema package.
TRACKER + ULTRA Arm, 8’-12’
Customized for filming, the TRACKER is a serious off-road platform that can travel upwards of 90mph in four wheel drive. The TRACKER seats four and can easily be configured with the Motocrane ULTRA Arm for extreme terrain. With either 8’ or 12’ ULTRA Arm lengths, this tracking vehicle allows production to efficiently grab the chase shots they are after.
RANGER EV + ULTRA Arm, 8’-12’
Designed for silent performance with zero emissions, and coupled with the MXL Head & ULTRA Arm, the RANGER EV is the newest addition to the ASCEND lineup. This pursuit vehicle confidently carries any cinema package of up to 70lbs, and its silent electric drivetrain is perfect for filming on location or inside on a stage. The RANGER EV seats two operators and can be configured with the operable ULTRA Arm or the fixed stabilization of the Dual Black Arm. Remotely operating the head from anywhere on set (wheels or joystick) is simple, and the robust battery banks position the RANGER EV as one of the most versatile tools in our offering.
JEEP TRACKHAWK + HYPER Arm, 14’-20’
With a 707 horsepower Supercharged V-8 Hemi under its hood, the Jeep TRACKHAWK is the most powerful Jeep ever, and the fastest SUV in the world. Custom-designed to fully accommodate a crew of up to six with monitors and controls at the ready, the ASCEND TRACKHAWK is a refined Arm Car changing the chase vehicle game in Atlanta and its surrounding Eastern Seaboard.
Featuring the brand new 14’ and 20’ lengths HYPER Arm (Serial 001), a 120lbs/55kg camera payload rating, and the most precise Arm stabilization offered, the ASCEND TRACKHAWK delivers new levels of performance. The HYPER Arm is built for on and off-road; with its 6061-T6 aluminum alloy construction, it has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any 14’-20’ arm in its class. HYPER also boasts the fastest swing (full 360° swing in 5.5 seconds), and it can do so at speeds over 100mph. The 3-axis Isolator keeps stabilized heads undisturbed during aggressive use on the track, and either the MXL FOG head, weather-proof GSS CinemaPro 516, or the industry standard Black Unicorn Classic Head confidently carry virtually any cinema package up to 80 lbs.
Comfortably seating six team members, the ASCEND TRACKHAWK will accommodate our SAG-AFTRA Driver, Arm Operator, Camera Operator, 1st AC, a DP and a 1st AD.
RAM TRX + HYPER Arm, 14’-20’
With a 702 horsepower Supercharged V-8 Hemi under its hood, the RAM TRX is the most powerful and most capable off-road RAM ever. By comparison, the TRX out performs all other full size trucks in existence, and it is the perfect off-road platform for our HYPER Arm. The Bilstein® Black Hawk® e2 shock system is found only on TRX. It’s designed to get all 702 horses to the ground—whether you’re racing up dirt roads, climbing over dunes, or overtaking stunt vehicles.
